Colour scheme. I will be creating a summer edition for my magazine therefore the colour scheme of my mgazine needs to reflect this. I have therefore left the colour scheme for my magazine down to my target audience, When I pitch my magazine to my target audeince I will ask my audience what colours they associate with summer as I plan to produce a summer edition for my magazine, the question will be open ended therefore my audience will be able to choose whatever colours they want. I will then use this evidence to create my final colour scheme for my magazine, |
Layout 1: Is a typical front cover layout, using all of the typical conventions seen on a front cover. It is busy with different conventions over lapping eachother. The busy layout is stereotypical for a low end magazine, I will make sure that throughout the use of photoshop the layout still connotes my high end genre.Layout 2: Is also a typical front cover as it uses all of the typical conventions of a magazine. This layout is more simplistic and spaced out connoting the structured style to the front cover which some readers may not find visually asthetic. As you can see below my target audience chose Layout 1 as the most popular layout therefore I will use this for my magazine. ![]() Layout 1: Uses all of the typical conventions for a contents page. The style is simplistic and sophisticated which connotes my high end genre. The spacious style will contrast the busier front page. Layout 2: Also uses all of the typical conventions of a contents page. It is slightly busier than layout 1 as some of the conventions over lap eachother which creates a busy style. As you can see below my target audience chose Layout 1 as the most popular layout therefore I will use this for my magazine. ![]() Layout 1: Uses all of the typical conventions for a double page spread such as a title which will bleed over. This layout is busy but not in your face or hard to read. I will also make sure that the double page spread still connotes the high end genre of my magazine. Layout 2: Again uses all of the correct conventions for a double page spread. It is more spread out that the first layout and still connotes the high end genre through the layout. As you can see below my target audience chose Layout 1 as the most popular layout therefore I will use this for my magazine, ![]() |
